Join the Spa team at one of the largest and most beautiful private country clubs in North America, Desert Mountain Club, as a Massage Therapist!

Our beautiful Desert Mountain Club features seven signature golf courses ( six of which are Jack Nicklaus & a par 54 championship course ), seven distinctive clubhouses –  each with its own unique restaurant plus banquets, state-of-the-art fitness center, swim and tennis facility, and spa.

Hourly Rate Plus Commission - Starting at 45% Commission massage service & body treatments provided, 10% retail, & 100% gratuities. We offer terrific benefits like medical coverage, FREE onsite medical clinic for all teammates & their dependents, Free team member meals during shifts, Paid Time Off and Sick Time, and so much more!

In this role, you will provide a relaxing and stress-free environment performing professional, therapeutic and rejuvenating massage and body treatments to members and guests. 

The ideal candidate will be a professional with a great attitude, strong work ethic, and passion for delivering exceptional experiences. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a massage therapist and a valid Arizona State Board Massage Therapy license are required. Prior experience in a country club or resort environment is a plus. CPR certification preferred but required within 60 days of hire.

Shifts needed: 

• Monday's (10:00am - 5:00pm)
• Wednesday's and Thursday's (2:00pm - 6:00pm)
• Saturday's (9:00am - 4:00pm)

JOB DETAILS

Responsibilities:

• Greet members and guests in a genuine, courteous, and service-oriented manner and provide exceptional service through name recognition, anticipating needs, and exceeding expectations.
• Perform requested or suggested massage techniques including, but not limited to, deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, Shiatsu, hot stone therapy, Thai massage, and/or sports massage.
• Conduct all treatments according to treatment guidelines.
• Build rapport and consult with member or guest to assess their expectations, inquire about physical well-being, and attend to immediate needs throughout their visit.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times with an emphasis on safety and health rules & regulations.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

• Required to work, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Required to stand for long periods of time.
• Must have necessary arm, hand, and finger strength and dexterity to provide massages.
