Job Description

Job Summary:

This client has manufacturing teams, the QC Inspector visually inspects all units to be tested (pre-power inspection). Training and mentoring of new technicians required.  Major component level troubleshooting required at this level.

Duties and Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:

• Perform visual inspection on all product lines.
• Inspect output using industry-appropriate methods, such as comparing standards, measuring dimensions and examining functionality.
• Reviewing blueprints and specifications to compare to produced goods.
• Perform visual inspection of Printed Circuit Boards.
• Report discrepancies on failed units.
• Recording inspection results by completing reports, summarizing reworks and wastes and inputting data into quality database.
• Keep measurement equipment operating accurately by following calibration requirements.
• Verbal and written communication with other departments.
• Other duties as assigned

Travel:

• Limited as needed

Minimum Education/Experience:

• 2 – 5 years’ experience
• Two-year technical degree or equivalent.
• Must be able to read and interpret schematics.
• Must be able to use Digital Multimeters, Current Clamps and Hand Tools.
• Knowledge of MS Office and ISO 9001 preferred.
