(VIRTUAL TEAM COACH -PENNSYLVANIA, MARYLAND, NEW JERSEY, OHIO, NEW YORK, and SOUTH CAROLINA Residents Only)

 

This is a part time position (up to 20 hours per week) based in a remote office. TEAMology is looking to build its Virtual TEAM Coaches division.  $15/hour - $20/hour; pay is commensurate with experience and performance.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW:
TEAMology is looking to build its Virtual TEAM Coaches (VTC)  division. We have several paid, temporary part-time (5 - 20 hours/week) positions available immediately.

 
  • VTCs do not provide therapy, counseling, or any diagnostic services to, or on behalf of, students. After successfully completing mandatory software and instructional training, and acting with supervision and support of company leadership, the Virtual TEAM Coach supports our mission to understand and improve emotional health to enhance every child’s ability to succeed in school, career, and life.

  • To be considered for employment, candidates must successfully complete paid training sessions that meet the acceptance standards established by the company. The company reserves the right to extend employment offers to top candidates who complete the training. Upon employment, any additional, periodic training required of employees by the company will be offered on a paid basis.

 

Position Responsibilities:

Prior to a formal job offer, candidates must complete the TEAMology Virtual Coach Training.

 
  • Provide virtual coaching and guidance to support students’ social and emotional wellness  - **this is not therapy, counseling or for diagnostic purposes**
  • This will require training ( 6 hours total) to start and ongoing training, as needed
  • "Coaching" a student virtually through the platform in 30 minute sessions and must have the ability to provide information back to TEAMology leadership regarding any further assistance the student might need
  • Writing feedback reports to submit to school liaisons 
  • Co facilitate classroom lessons through the online platform.  
  • Keeping appropriate coaching notes.
  • Create reports based on screening and assessments.  
  • Monitoring check-ins and screenings 
  • Completing monthly Professional Development
 

Minimum Job Entry Requirements - Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

The Virtual TEAM Coach does not provide therapy, counseling, or any diagnostic services to, or on behalf of, students.  Rather, after successfully completing mandatory software and instructional training, the Virtual TEAM Coach supports our mission to understand and improve emotional health to enhance every child’s ability to succeed in school, career, and life.  

The successful candidate must be self-motivated, accountable and possess the following attributes:  

  • A Graduate Degree in psychology, education, or social work disciplines is desirable. Bachelor Level Degree will be considered with support and  training
  • Some direct experience working with children of elementary and/or  middle school age
  • Passionate, people-person who thrives on collaborating with others to advance a worthwhile mission and cause.
  • Excited about high quality, short term coaching to support students’ social and emotional wellness in schools
  • Passionate about continuing to learning and grow and collaborating with the TEAMology TEAM 
  • Comfortable using innovative technology to transform social,  emotional, and mental wellness
  • The candidate must have access to a computer, tablet or other device to conduct sessions (smartphone not included)
  • Independent, non-judgemental, open minded, accepting of differences, and compassionate 
  • Organized and pays attention to detail
  • Must demonstrate command of written communications, including mastery of correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, syntax, and tone
  • If hired, the company will provide access to their proprietary software. As a condition of employment, candidates are required to have confidential, ready access to a computer, tablet, or other device to be able to conduct coaching sessions using the company’s software; smartphone access does not meet this requirement.

 

Other Requirements:

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full time basis. This company does not sponsor applicants for work visas.
  • Ability and willingness to work up to 20 hours per week. Work hours are flexible Monday-Friday, between 7:30 am – 4:00 pm EST
  • Background checks/Clearances (criminal/child abuse history/references/federal criminal history(3) need to be submitted before consideration
  • If hired, must adhere to all organization policies and procedures and other prescribed best practices/industry standards.
  • This job is a remote work opportunity for Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, Ohio, New York, and South Carolina residents who can work from their home office. 
 

The job is primarily performed indoors in a traditional home office setting; The individual is constantly required to talk, hear, stand, or sit for extended periods of time while using a computer, telephone, or other productivity devices to communicate with other personnel, clients/customers/students and conduct business. While performing the duties of this job, the individual may occasionally be required to reach with their hands and arms. The person in this role must frequently use their hands to finger, handle, feel, or operate objects and computer keyboards. The person in this role is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch or crawl, squat, turn/twist, and smell. They must also be able to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 5 pounds and/or occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
